Maria Wagner, BS, APP

Maria Wagner, a proud Appalachian State graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree, began her career in Sales. Upon traveling from client to client, making the necessary connections needed in sales, she began to realize a common thread. The connections made were deeper, more spiritual, than conventional. Though she continued upon this course for some years, the spark of what she was to become had been lit.

Throughout her life, Maria has been sought out, and viewed by those around her, as a trusted counselor and advisor. Upon hearing about Polarity Therapy and its benefits in early 2003, Maria knew, she had discovered her calling and must head to it.

Maria's passions include helping others discover their true potential, spending time with family, singing, reading, learning, movies, and cooking.

The classical Roman poet, Virgil once said, “Your profession is not what brings home your paycheck. Your profession is what you were put on earth to do. With such passion and such intensity that it becomes spiritual in calling.”

Today, a graduate of Institute of Holistic Health Careers, as a licensed APP (Associate Polarity Practitioner), Maria works with clients daily on a number of challenges from arthritic, neck or back pain, lack of energy, blocked energy which causes a multitude of physical, emotional and mental discomfort/dis-ease for a better life style, through her founded practice, Awakenings Holistic Health.

Eager to learn more modalities to provide optimum health for herself, her family and her clients, Maria continues to study additional modalities to deepen her practice and has studied aromatherapy and is currently studying medicinal herbs.

Maria is famous for her highly infectious spirit, for being friendly and outgoing and acting as a source of enlightenment to all those she touches. She boasts her life's purpose as being "a shining light of love, joy and peace".

Maria states that what she loves most about being a Holistic Health Practitioner, what she finds most fascinating, is that each of us has the power to heal ourselves. “I am simply a reflecting vessel, enabling clients to understand what’s going on within them and therefore, facilitate their own healing. Awareness is key.”
